Analisis Vegetasi Dan Pola Tanaman Sistem Agroforestri Tradisional (Parak) Di Kenagarian Koto Malintang Kabupaten Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Agam
Agroforestry parak in Kenagarian Koto Malintang is one of the plant cultivation activities carried out on customary forest land with a management system individually or in families. The objective of the research is to know the composition, planting patterns, Important Value Index, species diversity level and evenness index in the parak agroforestry system. Sampling in this study used the principle of purposive sampling. The results of the research conducted showed that on parak land there were 24 types of vegetation where 12 types of forestry plants were found and 12 types of non-forestry or agricultural crops. With the highest importance value index at the seedling level, cinnamon and durian with INP 39.28%, at the sapling level, cinnamon with INP 57.01%, at the pole level, cinnamon with INP 90.15%, at the tree level, durian with INP 103.04%, and at the NTFP level, cocoa with INP 50.29%. The level of diversity of vegetation types on parak land is classified as moderate with a high evenness index. In general, the planting pattern applied by the community in Kenagarian Koto Malintang is relatively the same, namely a random planting pattern or random mixture. Vegetation in the parak area has a fairly complex canopy stratification with stratum A-E and 133 m high.
