Tata Kelola Program Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat (Psr) Pada Lahan Gambut Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
The role of governance in the People's Palm Replanting Program (PSR) is a must to achieve the goal of good governance (Good Governance). The Indonesian government has set the replanting of oil palm plantations as a priority since 2017 as part of an effort to improve the governance of the palm oil sector. Indragiri Hilir Regency, one of the regions in Riau Province, is very dependent on plantations as its economic base, and experiences significant oil palm plantation growth. This research aims to investigate the governance of the People's Palm Replanting program and identify inhibiting factors in the implementation of this program on peatlands in Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research by adopting the theories of John Graham, Bruce Amos, and Tim Plumptre (2003). The results of the research show that the governance of the People's Palm Replanting (PSR) program in the peatlands of Indragiri Hilir Regency has been running, even though it has not reached the optimal level. The program is still faced with several challenges, including issues of land legality, regulation, physical access and science and technology, administrative complexity, and funding limitations. So it is necessary to increase the sustainability and effectiveness of the People's Palm Oil Replanting Program Governance in Peatlands in Indragiri Hilir Regency and overcome challenges in the implementation of PSR.
