"Pengaruh Ekonomi Sosial Pasangan Usia Subur Terhadap Pemintaan Anak Di Kota Pekanbaru"
This study aims to determine the influence of family income, employment status, and education level, as well as the dominant factors affecting Couples of Childbearing Age (CCA) on the demand for children in the city of Pekanbaru. This research uses primary data with a non-probability sampling technique of purposive sampling and a sample size of 100 women who are married and have children. The data in this study include both primary and secondary data. The types of data analysis methods used in this study are classical assumption testing (normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test), multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing (F-test and t-test), and the coefficient of determination (R²). The tool used in this study is the EViews 12 program. The results of this study indicate that there is a partial influence of family income (X1), employment status (X2), and education level (X3) on the demand for children among Couples of Childbearing Age (CCA) in Pekanbaru City, with all three factors having a significantly negative effect. The dominant factor influencing the demand for children among (CCA) is family income. The influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable (R²) is 45%, while the remaining 55% is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied in this research.
