Inovasi Pelayanan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (Pkb) Melalui Signal Di Kota Pekanbaru
The Signal application is a local tax service innovation issued by the Riau Province BAPENDA to improve local tax services that make it easier for taxpayers to get the desired local tax services. However, there are still obstacles in the implementation of innovative Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) services through Signal in Pekanbaru City, such as the difficulty in verifying data and the lack of socialization and there are still many taxpayers who do not know about this Signal application. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the innovation of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) services through Signals in Pekanbaru City has been going well or not. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn on data analysis techniques. The theory used in this study is the theory of Rogers in Melinda with five indicators, namely Relative Advantage, Compatibility, Complexity, Triability, Observability. The results of this study indicate that the innovation of Motorized Vehicle Tax (PKB) services through Signals in Pekanbaru City has not gone well. Factors that hindered the implementation of the program were taxpayer ID cards that had not been updated and the lack of socialization of the Signal application in Pekanbaru City.
