The formulation of the problem in the research is what is the role of administrators in encouraging youth to participate in youth youth activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency?
The purpose of this research is to find out and understand information and increase experience regarding the problem being studied, namely the role of administrators in encouraging youth to participate in youth organization activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. Then this research is expected to be able to provide benefits to organizational administrators, especially Karang Taruana in encouraging youth participation in every activity to increase the progress and success of each activity. And the results of this research are expected to be able to provide references and reference material which will later be used to find out how the role of administrators encourages youth. to participate in youth organization activities.
This research uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods, this research was carried out in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The results of observations and in-depth interviews were limited to only relevant words and actions, then analyzed into primary (main) data sources, namely three administrators. Karang Taruna, DS (Age 30 years), ND (Age 26 years) and KL (Age 23 years). Then secondary data is supporting data for primary data obtained by researchers from books and other relevant data sources.
Based on the problem formulation, objectives and indicator research, the research results of the role of administrators in encouraging youth to participate in Karang Taruna activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency are: (1) The role of administrators in encouraging youth to participate in Karang Taruna activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. seen from the indicators giving direction. So that young people take part in the activities carried out, the management tries to arrange meeting schedules so that the young people want to participate in the activities carried out, and the management tries to provide direction so that the activities carried out run smoothly.
(2) The role of the management in encouraging youth to participate in Karang Taruna activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, is seen from the trust indicator. In order for young people to be able and responsible for the things they are responsible for, it is necessary to carry out deliberations in assigning tasks so that the tasks given are according to their respective abilities. (3) The role of the management is to encourage youth to participate in Karang Taruna activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, seen from the indicator of uniting the group.
The management organizes every activity plan carried out by involving youth in every activity and making all members work actively. All members get assignments in every activity event held. (4) The role of the management is to encourage youth to participate in Karang Taruna activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, seen from control indicators. The management provides an assessment of each activity carried out which brings changes to each activity, because this can be a benchmark for improving youth performance in carrying out the next program. Apart from that, in order to know the process of activities carried out by the management, they are directly involved in the activities and will later be evaluated to find out the obstacles that occur so that tomorrow they do not happen again.
