Strategi Peningkatan Dayasaing Pedagang Pengecer Buah Jambu Kristaldi Desakuok Kecamatan Kuok
This research aimed to identify the strategy to increase the competitiveness of crystal guava fruit retailers in Kuok Village. This study was conducted at Kuok Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The research methods used were qualitative descriptive. The respondents for this study consisted of 5 farmers, 10 retailers, 1 employee of the agricultural extension center at Kuok subdistrict and 1 civil servant of Kuok village. The results showed that internal factors and external factors consists of 4 strengths, 4 weaknesses, 4 opportunities and 5 threats. The IFE and EFE weighting calculation values in the SWOT analysis have a total score of 2,7160 and 2,5800 respectively. This shows that the IFE and EFE values are large from 2,5 which means that crystal guava retailers in Kuok Village are said to be able to compete. Based on the results of AHP analysis using the expert choice, the main criteria that most influence the increase in the competitiveness of crystal guava retailer traders are product and marketing, which is 0,624. While the most recommended priority strategy alternative to increase the competitiveness of crystal guava retailer traders is the strategy of expanding product marketing with a weighted value of 0,243.
