This study investigates how punching and kicking attack techniques contribute to the points scored in women's kumite matches at the 2024 FORKI Riau Regional Championship. Understanding which attack technique, whether punching or kicking, is more effective in scoring points is the issue that the author focuses on in this research. This research uses descriptive analysis of quantitative data. In this study, purposive sampling technique was used. Every senior female athlete who successfully reached the semifinals and finals of the 2024 FORKI Riau Regional Championship is included in this research sample. This research uses direct observation methods with the aid of scoring sheets and a mobile phone camera. The data processing and analysis method employs percentage formulas. The study found that in the 2024 FORKI Riau Regional Championship, the effectiveness of striking techniques in women's senior kumite was 25%, with a failure rate of 75%. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of kicking techniques in women's senior kumite was 19%, with a failure rate of 93%. Thus, it can be concluded that in the 2024 FORKI Riau Regional Championship, the more effective technique for scoring points among women's senior kumite athletes was the striking technique, with a percentage of 25%.
