Inventarisasi Jenis-Jenis Ikan Yang Terdapat Di Desa Mentulik Dan Rantau Kasih, Sungai Kampar Kiri, Provinsi Riau
The Kampar Kiri River has experienced a decline in the number of fish species due to activities around the waters such as residential areas, industry and so on. The available data and complete information about the species of fish in the Kampar Kiri River are still very lacking, especially in Mentulik and Rantau Kasih Villages, so it is necessary to conduct research on the inventory of fish species in the waters of the Kampar Kiri River. This study aims to identify the species of fish in the waters of the Kampar Kiri River, Riau Province. Fish samples were collected from local fishermen from December 2024 to February 2025. The results of the inventory show that fish species obtained are 4 orders, 7 families, 10 genera and 13 species. There are the 13 species of fish found in the Cyprinidae family, 5 species (38%) are pantau fish (Rasbora argyrotaenia), sebarau (Hampala macrolepidota), kelabau (Ostechillus kelabau), paweh (Oeteochillus vittatus) and kapiek (puntius schwanafeldii). The Bagridae and Channidae families are obtained as many as 2 species (15%), namely the ingir-ingir fish (Mystus nigriceps), baung (Mystus nemurus), toman (Channa macropeltes), gabus (Channa striata). The families Claridae, Siluridae, Nandidae and Pangasidae are obtained as many as 1 species (8%), namely lele (Clarias leachantus), lais (Ompok hypophthalmus), patung (Pristolepis grooti) and patin (Pangasius hypophthalmus).
