ABSTRAK
Coffee drinks themselves have grown rapidly so that now it has become a lifestyle in
various circles of society. Judging from its benefits such as reducing the risk of
developing type 2 diabetes, reducing the risk of stroke and also preventing depression.
And another thing can also be seen from the development of coffee shops very quickly
with increasing demand for coffee, so there are also many types of coffee choices, such
as espresso coffee or so-called coffee with high pressure brewing. So with that created
a coffee press using a lever system with the aim of making it easier and simpler to make
espresso coffee presses and the results are also not inferior to press machines. There
are several coffee brewing techniques including french press, tubruk, pour over,
aeropress. This espresso coffee press tool produces espresso extraction with an
experimental ratio of 1: 4 (12 grams of coffee with 60 ml of water), the result will have
a layer of foam called crema. , if it exceeds 30 seconds the resulting taste will tend to
be more bitter and conversely shot too fast will also cause the extraction to be so runny
