Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Di Main Nursery Pada Media Tanam Campuran Subsoil Ultisol Dan Kompos Tkks Pada Dua Perbandingan Yang Diaplikasikan Pupuk Npk
ABSTRACT
The quality of oil palm seeds produced is influenced by the planting media
used. One of the alternative media that can be used for oil palm nursery media is
Ultisol subsoil. Subsoil soil has a lower fertility rate than topsoil. Therefore,
OPEFB and NPK compost were added which were expected to increase the
fertility of Ultisol subsoil. This study aims to determine the effect of the
interaction of OPEFB compost and NPK fertilizer and each single factor on the
growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery. This study used a completely
randomized factorial design, consisting of 6 combinations and 3 tests. The
combination consists of M1P0 (Ultisol subsoil + 1:1(V/V) OPEFB compost + 0 g
NPK), M1P1 (Ultisol subsoil + 1:1(V/V) OPEFB compost + 5 g NPK), M1P2
(Ultisol subsoil + OPEFB compost 1:1(V/V) + 7.5 g NPK), M1P3 (Ultisol subsoil
+ 1:1 OPEFB compost 1:1(V/V) + 10 g NPK), M2P0 (Ultisol subsoil + OPEFB
compost 2:1( V/V) + 0 g NPK), M2P1 (Ultisol subsoil + OPEFB compost
2:1(V/V) + 5 g NPK) , M2P2 (Ultisol subsoil + OPEFB compost 2:1(V/V) + 7.5 g
NPK), and M2P3 (Ultisol subsoil + 2:1(V/V) OPEFB compost + 10 g NPK). The
results showed that there was no interaction between Ultisol subsoil mixed
planting media and OPEFB compost in the two comparisons that NPK applied to
all parameters observed. However, the mixed planting media of Ultisol subsoil
with OPEFB compost with 10 g of NPK per polybag tended to produce good oil
palm seedling growth. Mixed planting media of Subsoil ultisol and OPEFB
compost with a ratio of 1:1 had an effect on the increase in plant height and
number of leaves. The provision of NPK 10 g per polybag affected the number of
leaves, weed diameter and dry weight.
