Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Berbantuan Wordwall Dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Materi Tata Surya Siswa Kelas VII SMP
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Teams Games Tournament cooperative learning model, assisted by wordwall, on the conceptual understanding of grade 7 students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The type of research used was experimental research with a quasi-experimental "non-equivalent control group design" with the "posttest only control group design" model. The data collection instrument was a test of understanding the concept of the Solar System which consisted of 21 multiple-choice questions. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis through the students' understanding of concepts and inferential analysis through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS version 22. The results showed that students' understanding of concepts in the experimental group was better than that in the control group, and there were significant differences in understanding the concept of an experimental group that applies the wordwall-assisted Teams Games Tournament cooperative learning model compared with a control group that applies a conventional learning model.
