Penerapan Metode Mind Mapping Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IIs 1 SMAN 2 Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti
This research is a class action research (Clasroom Action Research) which aims to
increase interest in learning in history subjects through the Mind Mapping method in class XI
IIS 1 SMA N 2 Tebing Tinggi. The research procedure was carried out in 4 stages, namely
planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The number of cycles is 2 cycles each cycle
consisting of 4 meetings. Methods of data collection with observation and questionnaire
techniques. Data were analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis techniques. The
results showed that there was an increase in the number of learning interests in learning history
in the first cycle of 63.06% with the criteria of not being successful and in the second cycle of
78.75%. This means that students' interest in learning has reached an indicator of success,
namely ≥76%. The results of the observational research showed that there was an increase in
students' learning interest. The conclusion of the research results supports the research
hypothesis, namely the Mid Mapping method can increase interest in learning history subjects
in class XI IIS 1 SMAN 2 Tebing Tinggi.
