ABSTRACT
This research aims to observe the interaction of Trichoderma sp. and NPKMg fertilizer, to observe the single effect of Trichoderma sp. and NPKMg fertilizer and to obtain the best dose of Trichoderma sp. and NPKMg fertilizer to increase the growth of palm oil seedlings in main nursery phase on Ultisol medium. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor is Trichoderma sp. which consists of four levels The parameters observed were the seedlings height increment, increase in stem diameter, increase in leaf count, fresh seedling weight, root volume, dry seedling weight and root crown ratio. The results showed that the giving of Trichoderma sp. and NPKMg fertilizer affect the seedlings height increment, fresh seedling weight and dry seedling weight in palm oil seedlings of DxP PPKS 540 variety aged 3-7 months. The giving of Trichoderma sp. affects all observed parameters. The giving of NPKMg fertilizer affects the seedlings height increment, increase in stem diameter, increase in leaf count, fresh seedling weight, root volume and dry seedling weight. The giving of Trichoderma sp. 15 g and NPKMg fertilizer 36.5 g can increase the growth of palm oil seedlings in main nursery phase on Ultisol medium.
