Respon Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Yang Diberi Asam Humat Dan Kompos Sludge Di Medium Ultisol Pada Main Nursery
ABSTRACT
Oil palm is one of the most abundant plantation crops in Indonesia and is one of the most important plantation commodities in the country's economy. This study aims to see the influence of the interaction between humic acid and sludge compost, the single factor of humic acid and sludge compost, and to obtain the best combination of humic acid and sludge compost on the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in ultisol medium in the main nursery. This research was conducted on the oil palm nursery breeding land on Garuda Sakti KM 7 Street, Karya Indah Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The study used a factorial complete random design (RAL) consisting of two factors, the first of which is humic acid consisting of four levels, A0: 0 g of humic acid per plant, A1: 25 g of humic acid per plant, A2: 50 g of humic acid per plant, A3: 75 g of humic acid per plant; The second factor is that sludge compost consists of three levels, S1: 10 g of sludge compost per plant, S2: 20 g of sludge compost per plant, S3: 30 g of sludge compost per plant. The interaction of humic acid and sludge compost affects the parameters of seedling height increase, hump diameter increase, fresh weight of prunes, root volume, dry weight of plants and root crown rasio. The application of humic acid affects the increase in seedling height, fresh weight of pruners, root volume, dry weight of plants and root crown rasio. The application of sludge compost has an effect on the increase in seedling height, increase in hump diameter, fresh weight of pruning and dry weight of seedlings. The right dose to improve the growth and production of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery can be given without humic acid and sludge compost 20 g per plant.
Key words : hump diameter, number of leaves, root volume, seedling height
