Uji Konsentrasi Cendawan Entomopatogen Cordyceps Militaris L. Fries Lokal Terhadap Mortalitas Rayap (Coptotermes Curvignathus Holmgren) Hama Kelapa Sawit Di Laboratorium
ABSTRACT
Coptotermes curvignathus Holmgren is a major pest of oil palm. Control of
C. curvignathus still uses synthetic chemical insecticides. A solution to reduce the
use of chemical insecticides by using environmentally friendly materials is the
local entomopathogenic fungi (CEP) Cordyceps militaris. The research was
canducted at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, in
January until March 2024. The research is used a completely randomized design
(CRD) of 5 treatments with 4 replications. The treatments were concentration of
local C. militaris 0 g.l-1 water, 10 g.l-1 water, 20 g.l-1 water, 30 g.l-1 water and 40
g.l-1 water. The parameters for observation were initial time of death, lethal time
50%, lethal concentration, daily mortality, and total mortality. The results showed
that local entomopathogenic fungi C. militaris is concentration of 10 g.l-1 of water
with a conidia density of 9,8 × 107 con.ml-1 was best concentration for mortality
C. curvignathus and had included in a bioinsecticide category causing a total
mortality of 75%, with the initial death time at 23 hours after the application and
lethal time 50% at 53,50 hours after application. The exact concentration local
entomopathogenic fungi C. militaris to control 50% of the population of
C. curvignathus is 0,75% or 7,5 g.l-1 of water.
