Optimasi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya Menggunakan Fuzzy Logic Controller
ABSTRAK
Optimizing energy utilization from Solar Power Plants (PLTS) is increasingly essential to enhance the efficiency and stability of the generated power. This research focuses on the development and implementation of a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) for Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in PLTS. As a comparison, the Peturb and Observe (PnO) method, one of the commonly used MPPT algorithms, is implemented under the same conditions. Simulations are conducted using MATLAB Simulink, modelling a PLTS system comprising solar panels, a Boost Converter, and load.
The simulation result demonstrate that FLC outperforms PnO, At 10.30 AM WIB, the optional power generated by the P&O method only reaches 335W with an efficiency 96,7%, whereas the FLC method achieves 498,84W with an efficiency of 97,4%. Therefore, this study contributes to the development of an MPPT control system based on Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) that is more reliable in improving efficiency, power stability, and the overall performance of PLTS.
