Analisis peramalan (Forecasting) dalam Agroindustri minyak sawit (CPO) di Indonesia

In Indonesian Economy, CPO has a strategic role because CPO is a cooking oil main staple, continuity stock also preserve a cooking oil price stable. This is important because cooking oil as one from 9 people’s need, so the price should be reachable by the people. Beside that CPO as one of the non oil and natural gas export mainstay agriculture comodity, this comodity has a good prospect as a devisa and tax for state income. CPO has a social role beside economy role that is a plantation capable to employ about 3 million farmers.
The purpose of this research is to find out CPO consumption development in national and world level, to view the indonesian CPO production, to view the CPO agroindustry economy impact and estimate the condition of CPO production and demand in the future.
This research did in Pekanbaru on December 2007 until April 2008 and analysis about indonesian problem. Research method is smoothing method and using WinQsb software. The research data is a time series, it means make a decision based on data collection comply to the time of period or last year data which is influence to the future data. Wherewith, X variable is year, Y variable is actual data and apply alpha and beta to produce a bit mistake.
The result forecasting analysis with SEST (single eksponensial smoothing with trend linier) of this research indicate that CPO has a bright business prospect in the future. Estimation, in 2010 CPO areal wide amount will experience a broadening until 6.367.964 Ha, while the total of indonesian production will achieve 19.328.320 ton. From Export side, the total of Indonesian CPO Export for 2010 is 17.889.410 better than Malaysia who will achieve 16.844.120 ton. This matter indicate that Indonesian Export Competitivenes stronger than Malaysian. Both country export amount enhancement caused by world cpo consumption escalation that is cooking oil and others product like margarine, cosmetic and biodiesel.
