Perbandingan Kinerja Struktur Dengan Pembebanan Gempa Berdasarkan Peta Wilayah Gempa Indonesia 2002 Dan Peta Hazard Gempa Indonesia 2010
Indonesia is prone to earthquake because it is located on three major
tectonic plates, that is Eurasian, Indo-Australian and Pacific plates. Those plates
always move and resulting on earthquake.
Indonesia government has a standard regulation foe earthquake resistance
strctures is a PPTIUG and SNI 03-1726-2002. Those standards aimed to
anticipate the danger of earthquake as a part of disaster mitigation. The
standards are updated according to the science and technology progress. The
latest seismic data showed tectonic plates keep moving from its previous location.
Earthquake Hazard Map of Indonesia has been published in 2010. The
map consist of Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) and and spectral acceleration
for short periods (0.2 seconds) and 1.0 seconds with a possible period exceeded
10% in 50 years, 10% in 100 years, and 2% in 50 years. The map also represents
three level of hazard, which is 500,1000, and 2500 years. There is a need for an
early review to compare the behavior of static loading and displacement of the
structures using Earthquake Hazard Map of Indonesia 2010 Indonesia
Earthquake Area and Map 2002 (SNI 03-1726-2002).
In this research have been compared the seismic loading and displacement
of structures with a variety of soil conditions and earthquake level. The results
seismic load Earthquake Area and Map Indonesia 2002 at medium and soft soil
with a return period of 500 years is greater than the seismic load produced by
Earthquake Hazard Map of Indonesia in 2010, but the Earthquake Hazard Map
of Indonesian 2010 describes the situation in accordance with the conditions of
Indonesia because of the data based on the most recent seismicity and results of
recent research on seismotectonic conditions in Indonesia and provide an
opportunity to plan the building with the effect of seismic loads by return period
reached 2500 years
