Pengaruh Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Index Card Match (Mencari Pasangan) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas Viii Pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (Ips)-Ekonomi Di Smp Negeri 4 Dumai Barat

Based on the experience of learning activity Socio-Economic Sciences of the junior high school class eight 4 dumai west. Been implemented tend to only use the lecture method. With this method the student activities in teaching and learning is very less as more listening to the teacher's explanation. Another difficulty faced by students is that students have the ability to think a low power, lazy read a book, ashamed to ask and accept what the teacher described without any reciprocal. So that student learning outcomes are low.
To address low student learning outcomes, learning strategies index cards do match, as it guided the students have little knowledge and supplies before beginning the lesson material so as to create conducive learning is good and conducive for students to behave and active participation.
This study aims to determine whether the effect of the application of learning strategies match the index card can improve student learning outcomes in the Junior High School eighth-grade 4 Dumai west. Research was conducted in four countries smp dumai west. a study carried out in the 2nd half of the school year 2011/2012. research subjects were eighth graders and eight eighth one dumai western countries. samples in this study were taken bedasarkan purposive sampling technique to sample class is a class that has an average value of report cards are almost the same. once that is done among local homogeneity test was taken a homogeneous class of test scores in the previous chapter. and only then randomly determined class serve as the control and experimental classes.
This research is experimental research conducted on two classes that have been tested homogeneity. experimental class using lecture and question and answer but applied learning strategies match the index card while the control class using lecture and question and answer with no applied learning strategy index card match. This study used a pretest and posttest design, this study measured differences in outcomes bedasarkan student learning outcomes from their average posttest results using state of the student after the end of behavioral treatment strategy learning card index match and after it sought the difference between pretest and posttest between the two classes to learn improved learning outcomes.
Learning outcomes data collection technique is data in the form of secondary data and primary data. Secondary data is data obtained from school beruupa school profile, the value of report cards in the previous semester, while primary data is data obtained from observations.
statistical data analysis techniques are deskripstif and inferential statistics. Improved student learning outcomes can be seen by comparing the results of classroom learning and classroom control experiment using a statistical test t-test.
The results showed that the learning outcomes of students in the implementation of the pretest between the experimental class and control class can be concluded that there are students who get the highest score is between 90-100. While the highest number of students in grade 0-49 are 21 (65.6%) for the experimental class and 18 (56.25%) for the control class . while for the results of post-test between the experimental class and control class can be concluded that the experimental class students better than the control class as the lowest value obtained experimentally are in the 50-69 class is 19 people or a range between 59.4% and the number of students that can be highest values (90-100) accounted for 1 person or a range from 3.1%, while the lowest value in the control class is at 50-69 are 22 people or about 68.8% and no one gets the highest score (90-100) , while the value is 10 or 70-89 ranged from 31.2%.
From the discussion in Section IV can be concluded that the increase in learning outcomes experimental economics class higher than the control class. this can be seen in the pretest and posttest results between these two classes. where the average increase for the
experimental class was 21.8 and for the class dick is at 17.06. It can be concluded that the students taught using learning strategies match the index card higher than students using the conventional method (lecture). Based on the results of studies that use learning strategies Index Card Match can affect student learning outcomes as well as to improve student learning outcomes in particular on our core competency of economic actors in SMP N 4 Dumai West. The magnitude of the effect of learning strategies Index Card Match on basic competencies describe economic agents is 13%.
