A series survey activity was conducted in Juni 2012 for a detail investigates of design and construction of the gill net, which has been used by fishermen at Teluk Pambang village. It expects could give some information on characteristic and specification of gill net’s design and construction for E. tetradactylum as main fishing target. The results show that the blue multifilament was used for the webbing; it has 974.4 meters in length. The main and buoy line were used PE (Polyethylene), while the sinker line was used PP (Polypropylene). The buoys were used polypropylene materials, as 3440 units. The sinkers were used flat round shape from concrete cement materials, as 645 units. The buoys mark was used from PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), as 15 units.
