Hubungan Kekuatan Otot Tungkai Dengan Kemampuan Passing Pada Siswa Putra Kelas XI TPTU II SMKN 5 Pekanbaru Tahun 2013

The problem in this study originated from the observation of the author encountered in the field , that some students who have not been able to do with good passing , passing visible when past tense , many do not get the ball often does not correspond to the desired destination. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of leg muscle strength with the passing ability on the football team Pekanbaru 2013 Vocational Hight SchoolState 5. This type of research is correlational . The population in this study was 5 Pekanbaru Vocational Hight School football team in 2013, amounting to 16 people , sampling in this study is the use of sampling techniques saturate the sample amounted to as many as 16 people . For gauged the depth muscle we used leg dyinamometer test and passing ability at which available wicket. Data were analyzed with a simple product moment correlation. Based on the analysis of the data found that there was significant relationship between leg muscle strength with the passing ability of the football team Vocational Hight School State 5 Pekanbaru , where rtabel at significant level α ( 0.05 ) = 0,497 and rcount (-0.590) > rtab (0.497).
