Studi Pola Penyebaran Total Suspended Solid (TSS) Di Muara Sungai Rokan Provinsi Riau

This study was conducted in April 2014 in Rokan river estuary, Bagansiapiapi Rokan Hilir in Riau Province. The aim of study was to observe the distribution of Total Suspended Soplid (TSS) at the low tide and high tide in Riau Rokan river estuary. The method used the study was a survey.
The results showed that TSS supply entering through river discharge at station 2 (transition area between Berkey Island and Pasir Limau Kapas ) was 10.4 ton/sec at the ebb tide and 6.9 ton/sec at low tide to the high tide. The average of TSS of Rokan river estuary at high tide to the low tide was 1,169.2 mg/l and 874.7 mg / l at low tide to the high tide, respectively.
