Faktor-Faktor Penyebab Berkurangnya Minat Pengguna Angkutan Kota (OPLET) Di Kelurahan Simpang Baru Panam Kota Pekanbaru

This study was conducted in New Simpang village Panam city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine how the development of public transport in the city of Pekanbaru city transport. This study entitled "Factors Contributing to Reduced User Interest City Transport (oplet) In New Simpang village Panam Pekanbaru City". Topics focus of this study is any factor that affects less interest city transport users (oplet) in Simpang New Village Subdistrict Handsome Pekanbaru. Samples from this study is that people using public transportation and local communities. Pengambikan sample is done with purposive technique. Sampling is numbered 13 people oplet drivers and local communities. The author uses qualitative research methods with qualitative descriptive data analysis. Data instrument is observation, interview. The results showed that oplet operating in the village of Simpang New applicants decreased due to several factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors causing a decline in user interest oplet against oplet is unsafe, expensive fare, the driver dishonest, dirty. While external factors that lead to lack of user interest oplet against oplet is a lifestyle, it's easy and cheap to get private vehicles. Oplet strategy in attracting returning customer interest is to improve the quality of oplet-oplet oplet than the other, ensuring that the oplet, keeping the attitude of drivers to passengers, clever seeking information about passengers.
