Gambaran Faal Paru Polisi Lalu Lintas Yang Bertugas Di Jalan Raya Di Polresta Pekanbaru
The air quality crisis in cities is mainly due to motor vehicle emissions. Increased air pollution will have serious negative effects on health, especially lung health. The purpose of this study is to overview the lung functions on highway traffic policemen in polresta pekanbaru. The type of this research is descriptive cross sectional type. The sample used is the traffic policemen who is on duty on the highway in Polresta Pekanbaru taken by total sampling method. Age, smoking habits, period of work, use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) obtained through interviews. The value of FVC (Forced Volume Capacity), FEV1 (Forced Expiratory Volume In One Second) and FEV1 / FVC obtained through direct examination to respondents. Prevalence of lung function of 65 people based on the characteristics of 41 people (63%) were in age classifications 31-40 years old in working periods >10 years 57 people (88%), smokers 39 people (60%) who have a habit of not wearing personal protective equipment 63 people (97%), overweight 33 people (51%). Statistical results showed a decline in lung function values including mild restriction of 17 people (26%) and mild obstruction 2 people (3%).

Krisis kualitas udara di kota-kota terutama disebabkan oleh emisi kendaraan bermotor. Peningkatan polusi udara akan memberikan efek negatif yang cukup serius pada kesehatan terutama kesehatan paru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran faal paru polisi lalu lintas yang bertugas di jalan raya di Polresta Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah polisi lalu lintas yang bertugas di jalan raya di Polresta Pekanbaru yang diambil secara total sampling. Usia, kebiasaan merokok, lama kerja, penggunaan APD (Alat Pelindung Diri) didapatkan dengan melakukan wawancara. Nilai KVP (Kapasitas Volum Paksa), VEP1 (Volum Eskpirasi Paksa detik pertama) dan VEP1/KVP didapatkan dengan melakukan pemeriksaan langsung terhadap responden. Prevalensi nilai faal paru dari 65 orang berdasarkan karakteristik didapatkan 41 orang (63%) berumur 31-40 tahun yang lama kerja >10 tahun 57 orang (88%), perokok 39 orang (60%) yang mempunyai kebiasaan tidak memakai alat pelindung diri 63 orang (97%) dengan status gizi berlebih 33 orang (51%). Hasil statistik menunjukkan penurunan nilai faal paru meliputi restriksi ringan sebanyak 17 orang (26%) dan obstruksi ringan 2 orang (3%).
