Evaluasi Penerapan Sistem Informasi Akademik Universitas Riau Menggunakan Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Versi 3

ABSTRACT

Riau University is one of the universities that has an academic portal that serves as a means of delivering academic information for students of Riau University. In terms of IT services, the University of Riau has a special unit that manages and implements information and communication technology namely UPT Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (UPT TIK)of RiauUniversity. The problem often faced is the server has a sudden interruption at the time of charging KRS online, so that students have difficulty in accessing the academic portal site of RiauUniversity. This happens over and over again almost every semester. Therefore measurement of maturity level on incident management and problems in Academic Information System of RiauUniversity. The measurement is done with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework Version 3 on the domain service operation. In accordance with the existing problem, the measurement is focused on subdomain incident management and problem management. Based on the assessment process that has been done, the level of incident management and problem management maturity of each score get 2.5 (two point five) and 2.6 (two point six) which means the implementation of incident management and problem management in Academic Information System of RiauUniversity are each located at level 2 (repeatable). While the optimal maturity target according to Process Maturity Framework (PMF) is level 5 (optimized). Based on the gap is given recommendations for improvements to the Academic Information System of RiauUniversity.
