Pengaruh Kompos Kulit Kakao Dan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Kacang Tanah (Arachis Hypogaea L.)
The needs for ground nut in Riau is always increasing but peanut production in Riau is still low . The efforts in increasing the yields of ground nut plants can be done by giving fertilizer optimally. The using of cacao peel compost and NPK-fertilizer is one of the way that can be done in increasing the yields of ground nut plants. This research aims to find out the effect of cacao peel compost and NPK-fertilizer interaction on the growth and production of ground nut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.) and the optimal dosage. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University. The research was conducted for 3 months from May to August 2018. The research was conducted experimentally in factorial 4x4 by using a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was cacao peel compost levels (0, 2.5, 5 and 7.5 ton.ha-1). The second factor was the dosage of NPK-fertilizer (0, 5, 10 and 15 kg.ha-1.). The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, plant growth rate (LPT), age of flowering, the percentage of effective root nodules, number of pods per sample, the percentage of peas pithy, 100 seeds weight and seeds weight per m2. The data obtained were analyzed of variance if significantly in different, then would be continued with DNMRT test at the level of 5%. The result of the research showed that interaction of cacao peel compost and NPK to improve the percentage of pithy pods but gave no improve on plant height, stem diameter, plant growth rate, flowering age, percentage of effective root nodules, number of pods per sample, weight of 100 seeds and seed weight per m2 . The treatmen of cacao peel compost 7.5 tons.ha-1 was followed by NPK 50 kg.ha-1 was able to increase plant height (41.46 cm), stem diameter (5.43 mm), plant growth rate (1.64 g), the percentage of effective root nodules (77.43%), number of pods sample (37.42 pieces), percentage of pithy pods (92.08%), weight of 100 seeds (58.93 g) and seed weight m2 (183.75 g) compared to without compost of cacao and NPK shells but not real compared to other treatments, this increase is not in accordance with the description of the Takar 2 variety ground nut.
Key words: ground nut plant, cacao peel compost, NPK-fertilizer
