Asosiasi Bivalvia Dengan Ekosistem Lamun Thalassia Hemprichii Di Perairan Pantai Nirwana Kota Padang Sumatera Barat
This research was conducted in July-September 2018 at Nirwana Beach, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The aim of the study was to determine the density level of seagrass, bivalve density and seagrass density relationships with bivalve density in the waters of Nirwana, Padang City. Sampling uses the survey method. The observation location is divided into 3 stations, station I area which has minimal community activity or is far from residential areas, station II is located in the Nirwana Beach area and station III is adjacent to the residential area. The number of seagrasses found below is only species (monospecies), namely: Thalassia hemprichii, which has a moderate level of seagrass density between 83.66 - 177 stands/m2 and the type of bivalves identified using 8 species: Barbatia bistrigata, Asaphis deflorata, Codakia tigerina, Pitarina citrinus, Tellina palatum, Tellina radiata, Vasticardium subrugosum, Vasticardium angulatum. with the highest density value of 9.65 ind/m2. The relationship of dense density with Bivalvia density is classified as strong with negative direction, the balance coefficient value is -0.7608. The density of seagrass relationships with bivalve density is 57.88% while 42.12% is influenced by environmental factors such as climate change, chemicals, materials organic and inorganic and hunting by the community.
Keywords : Seagrass density, Bivalve abundance, Nirwana beach.
