Gambaran Pemberian Stimulasi Dan Perkembangan Bahasa Anak Di Taman Penitipan Anak (Tpa)
Abstract
Language is one aspect of development that must be developed from an early age because language is a mediator of communication between children and other people. This study aims to identify the description of the stimulation and language development of children who are cared for in the daycare center in Tampan, Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive study that used a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used cluster sampling. The sample of this study was 24 caregivers and children who were cared for in the Tampan’s daycare that involved 85 children. The measuring instrument used was the standard language stimulation questionnaire and the language development observation ELM SCALE 2. The results of the study showed that the majority of caregiver had performed language stimulation well as much as 71.8%. The language’s development of children in a good developmental much as 97.6%. This research shows that the children raised in the day care center have shown good language development. This study recommends that routine monitoring and screening be carried out so that children’s development is in accordance with their age.
