Prospek Pengembangan Industri Kecil Galamai Dikecamatan Kuantan Tengah Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau

The purpose of this study was to determine what obstacles were faced in the development of the galamai small industry and the financial feasibility of the galamai small industry in the central kuantan sub-district of kuantan district. The method used in the business feasibility test consists of npv, b / c ratio, and pp. The population of the study was 6 business units. The sample of this research was saturated sampling, that is, sampling of the entire total population.
The obstacle that exists in the small industry of Galamai, Kuantan Tengah Subdistrict, Kuantan Singi Regency is the limited capital owned, capital is needed, but that does not mean only because of the limited capital of business actors cannot develop their business. The price of raw materials tends to rise making producers difficulty in producing galamai, while the price of galamai is impossible to raise. This results in smaller profits being received compared to normal prices. The lack of investment in production equipment such as the galamai mixer is a constraint in maintaining the sustainability of the production of the small galamai industry. The analysis tool used is the Feasibility Analysis using four aspects. Namely Market Aspects, Production Engineering Aspects, Socio-economic Aspects and Financial Aspects. The results showed the feasibility test on the small galamai industry in Kuantan Tengah subdistrict Kuantan singingi district had good prospects and was feasible to run because the Net Present Value value of Rp.17,880,056.24> 0 meant that the small galamai industry was able to provide net income. Benefit Cost Ratio of 1,108> 1. Payback period of 2 years and 1 month, this shows that the small industrial galamai can provide benefits before the economic life runs out.
