Analisis Daya Saing Ekonomi Kabupaten/Kota Di Provinsi Riau

The districts and city is area of growth center or community center supposed to be more advanced in the region's economy, infrastructure, and human resources. From the districts and city can be seen welfare the population. This study aims to determine how the level of economic competitiveness of districts and city regions in Riau’s Province and the potential of what is contained by each of these areas. The study used the competitiveness analysis method, which calculates scores and the index during the period 2012-2016. Type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Bureau (BPS) in Riau’s Province, PLN. Company distribution Riau’s Province, and other literature such as books, and economic journals. The results of the level of economic competitiveness of districts and city regions in Riau’s Province, among others Pekanbaru get first rank at the level of competitiveness of districts and city regions in Riau’s Province in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Kampar get first rank at the level of competitiveness of districts and city regions in Riau’s Province in 2015 and 2016. While Indragiri Hulu has lowest ranks in 2012 and 2015, and the lowest ranked is Meranti’s Island in 2013 and 2014. And then Pelalawan lowest ranked in 2016. Potential Pekanbaru win on almost all indicators of competitiveness. The more winning potential of a region, the higher the level of competitiveness of the districts and city region.
