This research is motivated because the researchers wanted to know in terms of the application of discipline in shaping the personality of students Brigadier Police in SPN Pekanbaru student background are different both in terms of habits, customs, norms, economic status, ethnicity, etc. which students take it at the time before entering the State Police School Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is; (1) to study and analyze how the application of discipline in shaping the personality of students in SPN Pekanbaru Police Brigadier; (2) to determine the factors inhibiting the application of discipline in shaping the personality of students in SPN Pekanbaru Police Brigadier; and (3) to know the personality of students that the institution is the Indonesian National Police. The study was conducted in SPN Pekanbaru in Riau province. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of data using three things: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the general implementation of the order in Pekanbaru SPN going well. Inhibiting the implementation of the order in shaping the personality in SPN (State Police School) Pekanbaru caused by two things, namely from the students and from teachers or instructors. Personality or character desired by the Indonesian National Police Agency is; (1) discipline; (2) to be honest; (3) hard work; (4) devoted; (5) love of the homeland; (6) intelligent; (7) fair; (8) Professional; (9) democratic; (10) empathy; and (11) kebhayangkaraan and tribatra; (12) is commendable; (13) is superior; (14) Professional; and (15) skillful.
