Pengaruh Verbal Abuse Orang Tua Terhadap Perilaku Sosial Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Negeri Pembina 1 Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the effect of verbal abuse by parents on social behavior of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Pekanbaru. The sample in this study were 31 parents and children. The method used in this research is quantitative correlation to see the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the IBM SPSS for Windows Ver program. 25.0. From the results of the study note the level of social behavior of children is in the category quite well with a percentage value of 63.87% and the level of verbal abuse of parents is in the moderate category with a percentage value of 68.28%. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained there is a negative and significant relationship between verbal abuse of parents with social behavior of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Pekanbaru. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient of 0.547 and the resulting coefficient of determination of 29.9% means that verbal abuse affects 29.9% of children's social behavior.
