Keanekaragaman Jenis Burung Di Cagar Alam Bukit Bungkuk Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACK
Birds are part of biodiversity that must be preserved from extinction and
decreased diversity of its species. The diversity of bird species in Bukit Bungkuk
Nature Reserve of Kampar Regency of Riau Province is very minimal to be
found. Using the point count method or IPA, the point count method is a method
of birdwatching by taking samples from the bird community calculated in a
specific time and location. Observations made on birds found in transects of the
observation path include the type of bird and the number of birds. At the location
of observations are carried out data collection by making observation paths that
are purposively disposive on areas with hillsides. The number of observation lines
at each location as many as 2 lines along 1000m. Observations are carried out in
the morning at 06.00-09.00 WIB and in the afternoon at 15.00-18.00 WIB with 3
repetitions made the next day at the same time. The results showed that the
diversity of bukit bungkuk bird species was found as many as 30 species of birds
from 19 families. The bird species diversity index in Bukit Bungkuk Nature
Reserve has a value of 3.11 with a high category and the relative abundance value
(IKR) of bird species in the Bukit Bungkuk Nature Reserve is low.
