ABSTRACT
Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) began to be developed in Indonesia in the early 1980s. Based on data from the Ministry of Agriculture (2019), corn production in Indonesia from 2016 to 2018 has increased every year. Sweet corn production in 2016 was 23.6 tons, in 2017 it was 28.9 tons and sweet corn production in 2018 increased by 30 tons Fertilization technology should be carried out by combining organic fertilizers with inorganic fertilizers, so that land fertility and land and plant productivity are optimal and sustainable. Increasing soil fertility can be done by using golden snail MOL and NPK fertilizer. he study was a 3x3 factorial experiment arranged according to a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor was the provision of golden snail MOL consisting of 3 levels (0, 30 and 60 g per plant). The second factor was the provision of NPK fertilizer consisting of 3 levels (84, 105 and 126 gr per plot).The data obtained were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance and continued with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level using SAS software. The results of the study showed that the combination of golden snail MOL and NPK fertilizer affected the parameters of plant height, leaf length, leaf width, weight per cob with husk, cob length, number of rows per cob, production per plot but did not affect the weight of cobs without husk, time of male flower emergence, time of female flower emergence, and harvest age.
