Rancang Bangun Alat Monitoring Kapasitas Baterai Lithium-Ion Berbasis Modul Arduino Pada Kendaraan Listrik

ABSTRACT
Nowadays due to the main considerations of environmental issues, the use of
electric vehicles is becoming increasingly popular. Electric vehicles are wheeled
transportation devices driven by electric motors. In electric vehicles, information
about the electrical energy left in the battery used is essential, so the driver can
recharge his battery in a timely manner. Therefore, to master the manufacture of
such devices, the author aims to design a lithium-ion battery capacity monitoring
tool based on arduino modules in electric vehicles. Coulomb Counting (CC) is a
method of calculating the electric charge (Coloumb) that enters or exits through
the battery. By integrating the electric current flowing into the battery over time, a
total electric charge is obtained in or out of the battery. The results of all tests
conducted that battery capacity information can be known in electric vehicles using
battery monitoring tools. SoC at load 0 A reduced from 91% to 12%. The final SoC
testing of the battery monitoring tool is closer to the results of the calculation in
theory. Design a lithium-ion battery capacity monitoring tool using the arduino
uno-based coloumb counting method can provide information in the form of SoC
on load and also SoC when not loading, and can be used in electric vehicles.
