Biopelet Dari Limbah Biomassa Serbuk Serutan Rotan Dan Serbuk Gergaji Campuran Menggunakan Perekat Sagu Sebagai Sumber Energi Alternatif
ABSTRACT
Using biomass waste rattan shavings and mixed sawdust as biopelet raw
materials can be created as one of innovatived solutions to replace fossil fuels. So
it need to be done biopelet research of biomass waste rattan shavings and sawdust
mixed with various powder sizes and powder compositions. This study was
conducted to know charactetistic of pollen shavings and sawdust mixed and
adding sago adhesive. The study use a complete randomized design (RAL)
factorial with two factors consisting of 15 treatment combinations and 3
repeatables. A raw material is dried for 3 days, smoothed, filtered, the raw
material is adhesive-mixed and printed, last parameterized testing. The result of
Research show density, water level, evaporative agent level and biopelet calorific
value meet SNI 8021:2014, biopelet ash level has not met SNI 8021:2014 and
bound carbon level has not all treatment met SNI 8021:2014. A best biopelet
composition is obtained at an R2P2 treatment with a powder size of 40 mesh and
a sawdust composition of 100% with a crevice of 0.98 g/cm3, a water content of
10.03%, a vaporizing agent content of 74.38%, an ash content of 6.07%, a carbon
bound content of 19.55% and a calorific value of 5,226.54 cal/g.
