This study aims to describe the types and functions of presuppositions in Tere Liye's novel Pulang. This research is a qualitative research. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The data source in this research is the novel Pulang by Tere Liye. There are 33 data types of presuppositions. The types of presuppositions found in Tere Liye's novel Pulang are existential, factive, lexical, structural, and counterfactual presuppositions. The functions of presuppositions found are directif, asertif, komisif and ekspresif.
