Pengaruh Tingkat Pendidikan, Jumlah Tanggungan Dan Tingkat Pendapatan Suami Terhadap Partisipasi Wanita Menikah Yang Bekerja Pada Sektor Formal Di Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of education level, number of
dependents and husband's income level on the participation of married women
who work in the formal sector in Pekanbaru City.
This study uses primary data. By using a sample of 100 married women
who work in the formal sector. The analytical method used is descriptive statistics
multiple linear regression, statistical testing includes the f test, t test, and R
square, as well as the classical assumption test, namely normality,
multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity with the help of the SPSS 25.0 program.
From the results of this study, it was found that the variables of education
level, number of dependents and husband's income level simultaneously had a
significant influence on the participation of married women working in the formal
sector in Pekanbaru City. while partially the education level variable (X1) in this
study has a significant effect on the participation of married women who work in
the formal sector. The variable number of dependents (X2) and the husband's
income level also have a significant effect on the participation of married women
who work in the formal sector. The magnitude of the effect (R2) by these three
variables together on the dependent variable is 68%, while the remaining 32% is
influenced by other variables not included in this study.
