Perlawanan Orang Melayu Dalam Novel Gelombang Sunyi Karya Taufik Ikram Jamil

This study aims to describe the origin of the Malays resistance and the relationship between the two periods contained in the Silent Wave novel by Taufik Ikram Jamil. This type of research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this research is the novel Wave of Silence by Taufik Ikram Jamil. Data collection techniques used in this study were reading, handicapping, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is to (1) classify, (2) identify, (3) describe, (5) discuss and (6) conclude. Based on the results of the study, it was found events that showed the resistance of the Malays and the relationship between the two periods contained in the novel Wave Sunyi by Taufik Ikram Jamil. The resistance consists of physical, cultural, mental and social resistance.
