Uji Konsentrasi Ekstrak Daun Tembakau Terhadap Mortalitas Ulat Bawang (Spodoptera Exigua Hubner) Pada Tanaman Bawang (Allium Cepa L.).
ABSTRACT
Shallots caterpillar (Spodoptera exigua Hubner) is the main pest that attacks shallot plants. Spodoptera exigua can be controlled using insecticides from tobacco leaves (Nicotiana tabacum L). This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (RBD) method consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications, so that 24 experimental units were obtained. Each experimental unit consisted of 6 instar III (Spodoptera exigua) caterpillars. The treatment consisted of 6 treatments, namely 0 g tobacco leaves/l water, 20 g tobacco leaves/l water, 40 g tobacco leaves/l water, 60 g tobacco leaves/l water, 80 g tobacco leaves/l water and 100 g tobacco leaves/l water. Observation parameters consisted of initial time of death, lethal time 50, daily mortality, total mortality, temperature and humidity. The results showed that tobacco leaf extract with a concentration of 100 gl-1 water was effective in killing leek caterpillar larvae by 100,00% with an initial death time of 15.00 hours after application and LT50 at 55.25 hours after application.
