Status Kesuburan Perairan Berdasarkan Klorofil- A Di Danau Diatas Kabupaten Solok, Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Abstract
Aquatic trophic status is needed in efforts to manage sustainable waters and to determine chlorophyll-a in a water. The aim of this study was to determine the concentration of chlorophyll-a as an indicator of aquatic trophic status in Diatas Lake and to determine the condition of the waters based on parameters related to the survival of phytoplankton. This research was conducted in December 2022-March 2023. The research method is a survey method. Sampling was carried out 3 times with one week sampling interval. As a result, trophic status was obtained based on the average chlorophyll-a concentration between 1,0452 μg/L-1,5509 μg/L and mean 1,2924 μg/L. The results of water quality measurements were temperature 22.6 0C, depth 8–42 m, brightness 355-390 cm, pH 7, DO 5.16-5.34 mg/L, free CO2 5.99 mg/L, nitrate 0.161-0.339 mg/L, and phosphate 0.032-0.080 mg/L. The concentration of chlorophyll-a indicates the trophic status of the waters classified as oligotrofic waters and the results of water quality measurements are appropriate for the survival of phytoplankton.
