Pengaruh Partisipasi Siswa Dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Japanese Club Terhadap Minat Belajar Bahasa Jepang Siswa SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effect of student participation in Japanese
Club extracurricular activities on Japanese language learning interest of SMA
Negeri 9 Pekanbaru students.
The method used in this research is correlation research with quantitative
descriptive method with questionnaire as research instrument. Respondents in this
study amounted to 30 students who studied Japanese as a cross-interest subject and
participated in Japanese Club extracurricular activities. The data analysis
technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and Product Moment correlation
analysis.
The results of this study indicate that student participation in
extracurricular activities at school obtained an average score of 82 and was in the
moderate category. Meanwhile, students' interest in learning Japanese obtained an
average score of 82 and was in the moderate category. The Product Moment
correlation between students' participation in Japanese Club extracurricular
activities and Japanese language learning interest of SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru
students obtained a result of 0.634. The correlation in the statement is a strong
correlation.
