Distribusi Pendapatan Petani Kelapa Sawit Pola Plasma Di Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau

This study aims to determine distribution of income farmers palm plasma
pattern in subdistrict pangkalan kuras pelalawan regency riau province. this research
was conducted in October to March 2011 with a survey method and technique of
respondents using purposive Multistages random sampling on plasma patterns of
palm farmers who plant palm is aged 12-18 years with area 2-6 Ha and a number of
respondents 30.
Based on analysis of data from research results, the structure of household
income of farmers coming from farming 74.38% and 25.62% of palm comes from
foreign. Distribution of family income farmers ranges between Rp 3.429.585 – Rp
12.504.338 and the average revenue of Rp 7.433.642,77. Gini index is lower by 0.1
Gini index, indicating low inequality and the Lorenz curve is close to the line
evenness. The global crisis that occurred in 2008 which makes the price of oil
dropped dramatically farmers can be overcome with good. The structure of non-food
expenditure of 51,61%% while spending on food big as 48,39%.
In this case, farmers are expected to invest their income outside of the palm
sector, given the price to fall dramatically anytime again. It is necessary to control the
factories and cooperatives that handle the products from farmers, so the agency can
improve the welfare of farmers. And also expected the government to provide
guidance and counseling to farmers so that farmers have knowledge in doing so
facilitate the cultivation of palm farmers in obtaining seeds.
