Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Anorganik Pada Tanah Gambut Yang Telah Diberi Mikroorganisme Selulolitik Terhadap Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum Annum L)
Chili (Capsicum annum L) is a kind of vegetable commodity that is highly needed almost by all of the walks of people. In Indonesia, chili is mostly used by the housewife as an additional or complementary seasoning for cuisine. Some researches have been done to dig the information about the effect of inorganic fertilizer given to the peat soil, which is formerly, the cellulolytic microorganism is provided against the chili. In order to find out the dosage of inorganic fertilizer that generates maximum growth and highest production, this research was done upon the peat land of Agriculture Faculty experiment land, University of Riau, Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang Sub-district, Kampar Regency, that was started from March until August 2010. This research was experimentally done by using completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments. Firstly, it was done without fertilizer. Secondly, it was done with 1 dosage of recommended fertilizer (urea 6 gr, KCl 8 gr, TSP 10.5 gr) of cropping, ½ dosage of recommended fertilizer, (urea 3 gr, KCl 4 gr, TSP 5.25 gr) of cropping, 1/3 recommended dosage (urea 2 gr, KCl 2.6 gr, TSP 3.5 gr) of cropping, ¼ recommended dosage (urea 1.5 gr, KCl 2 gr, TSP 2.6 gr) of cropping.
The result of the research shows that cellulolytic microorganism in the peat land for the second cultivation, was still on progress of its activity to decompose the organic material inside the peat land. It is obviously seen from the result of soil analysis from the beginning till the end of the research, where there was the decreasing happened of total N, C-organic, and C/N ratio. For the available P content, it was tend to decrease, while available K was tend to increase, as well as the pH of the soil which was tend to increase. The allocation of N, P and K fertilizer against the peat soil which has been given the cellulolytic microorganism upon the first cropping, it is significantly affect the weight of the dry stover, and also to the blooming time, and do not significantly affect against the height of the plants, the ratio of crown roots and the total weight of fresh fruit per plot. The allocation of recommended dosage of N, P, and K fertilizer, gave the better result than the other of all observed parameters. If it is converted into the hectare scale, therefore, the acquired production equals to 2.02 ton/ha.
