Uji beberapa konsentrasi ekstrak tepung buah sirih hutan (pipper aduncum l) untuk mengendalikan hama kutu daun persik myzus persicae sulzer (homoptera: aphididae) pada tanaman cabai (capsicum annuum l.)
Red chilli (Capsicum annum L.) is one of the important commercially product that cultivate in the tropics and have a high economic value. Myzus persicae is one of pest that can decrease the production of chilli. The effort to control Myzus persicae still use synthetic chemical insectisides but this can cause negative effects such as pest resistance, pest resurgence and anvirontment pollution. Another method solution to control Myzus persicae on crops which save for environment is the use of the fruit of Pipper aduncum exstract. Effort control this pest still to use synthetic chemical insecticides, but synthetic chenical can cause negative effects such as pest resistance pest resurgence. This research was conducted at the Pest of Plant Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture University 0f Riau in Pekanbaru, (February to may 2012). The research was using design Comletelly Randomized Desigh (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments are, SRH0 (without extract flour the fruit betel forest) SRH1 (with extract flour the fruit betel forest Extract of Pipper aduncum fruit 25g/L of water) SRH2 (Extract of Pipper aduncum fruit 50g/L of water) SRH3 (Extract of Pipper aduncum fruit 75g/L of water) SRH4 (Extract of Pipper aduncum fruit 100g/L of water). Concentration extract of Pipper aduncum fruit 75g/L of water is the best consentration because can cause total mortality 90%. The appropriate concentration in controlling to kill 50% of aphid Myzus persicae is 2.28% and 7.15% to kill 95% of aphid Myzus persicae.
