Efektifitas Ekstrak Daun Sambiloto (Andrographis Paniculata Ness) Dalam Menanggulangi Infeksi Bakteri Aeromonas Hydrophila Pada Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio L)

The objective of the research was to investigate the effecitivity of kalmegh
leaf (Andrographis paniculata Ness) to bacterial infection (Aeromonas hydrophila)
on common carp (Cyprinus carpio L). This research was conducted in laboratory of
Parasite and Disease of Fish, Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty, Riau University
from March until May 2009. Consentration ofkalmegh leaf extract in each treatment
were 200 ppm (Pl), 400 ppm (P2), 600 ppm (P3) and without leafkalmegh extract as
a control. The fishes then challenged with A. hydrophila, and immersion in the
solution for 1 hour. It was done for 3 times in three days. Survival rate of the fishes
were treated with 200 ppm, 400 ppm, 600 ppm and control of leaf kalmegh extract
were 67%, 83%, 87% and 23%. The best result obtained in the fishes were treated
with 600 ppm ofleafkalmegh extract.
