Performansi Mesin Pengkondisian Udara Hibrida Dengan Penambahan Kondensor Dummy Sebagai Water Heater
In general, Split air conditioner (AC) has been used for conditioning the air in a room to get the suitable air temperature. Dummy condenser had been implied in this research to inspect the effects of it, such as load of cooler, the compression power, temperature, and Coefficient of Performance (COP). The experimental method was conducted in this research. Based on the experiment, there is slightly distinction of pressure and compression power by having dummy compressor on system. However, on opening the water faucet valve compressor work decrease due to the heat generated dummy condenser heat transfer occurs to a greater water so that the compressor power decreases. Refrigerant temperature is getting higher, while the cooling load was given to the room. As the consequences of these, hot water temperature also increased. In conclusion, hot water and refrigerant temperature are 62,23 0C and 74,99 0C consecutively, during 120 minutes of experiment.
