Remediasi Polutan Organik Dalam Limbah Cair Karet Dengan Media Saring Dan Tumbuhan Air (Echinodorus Palaefolius Dan Limnocharis Flava) Untuk Media Hidup Ikan
This study was conducted on February-April 2014 in PT. Riau Crumb Rubber Factory is located on Jl. Meranti Pandak, Rumbai Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability sand filter and aquatic plant (E.palaefolius and L.flava) in remdetion organic pollutan for rubber wasteliquid as life fish media. This study using experimen method with 8 reactor’s. Every 2 reactor’s for the sand filter media as a control and the other 2 reactor’s combination sand filter and aquatic plant. For sampel BOD5 and COD were taken in 5 place, 4 time’s with interval 10 day’s. The sampel were analyzed at UPT Dinas Umum Laboratory. The result of this study were first average concentration of BOD5 is 394,12 mg/l and COD is 741,57 mg/l. The last average concentration of BOD5 is 9,99 mg/l and COD is 35,55 mg/l and then average effectiveness BOD5 is 97,44% and COD is 95,21%. From the overall parameter were tested have reached the quality standard KEP51/MENLH/10/95 and can used as a life fish media percentage of survival rate for Esomus sp and Pangasius pangasius 100% and then Oreochromis nilothicus 93,75-100%.
