Pelaksanaan Program Employee Relations Dalam Memotivasi Karyawan Pada Pingu’s English School Pekanbaru

Pingu's English School Pekanbaru is one institution famous English education in Pekanbaru. The company runs its activities aimed to establish good relations with its employees or called employee relations. The programs include gymnastics on Wednesday morning, lunch on Friday, as well as a cinema if the films box office. This program makes employees more enthusiastic about the work. This study aims to determine employee relations programs that employee communication, employee attitude surveys, employee counseling and profit sharing applied Pingus English School Pekanbaru and how the program can build employees' work motivation.
This study used qualitative methods to the theory of SOR (Stimulus-Organism-reponse). The object of this research was the fourth employee relations program that is employee communication, employee attitude surveys, employee counseling and profit sharing. Subject Research of six people that Board Of Directors, Public Relations, Customer Cervice Coord, Customer Cervice, Teacher Coordinator, Full-time teacher and Operational Coord. Data collected by interview, documentation and observation. Data were analyzed using interactive data analysis model Miles and Huberman. Mechanical examination of the validity of data using techniques extension of participation and triangulation techniques. While the technique of determining the informant used purposive technique.
The results showed that Pingu's English School ran those four employee relations program. The employee communication program is in the form of appraisal activities, regular meetings, training, the culture of open minded, and special activities to establish kinship. The appraisal or award programs is the program that is most motivating for employees. The employee attitude surveys program is carried out by the assessing performances formally and informally. Both are equally build motivation, because employees feel being watched so they always act according to the standard of performance. Employee counseling program consists of consultancy service activities, brainstorming, coaching, and visiting the employees who are sick. Coaching is the most motivating activity, because employees feel that the company gives attention to improving the skills and performance. Profit sharing consists of salary, bonus, leaving, vacation and career. The most motivating are salaries and bonuses, for the purpose of working is earning.
