Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Bentuk Geometri Melalui Permainan Geometri Box Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di PAUD ”Kita” Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
Based on field observations with regard to the ability to know the geometry encountered symptoms such as concerns about the ability to know geometry, the child is still confusion in naming the form of a rectangle, circle, and triangle and when children observe home form, shape wheel motors and a book. The place and the time the research was conducted in PAUD "KITA" Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabpaten Indragiri Hulu, which was conducted over four months. This type of research using action research (PTK), which is a method of research that aims to see the effectiveness of learning techniques. Subjects in this study were all children aged 4-5 years in PAUD "KITA" Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabpaten Indragiri Hulu totaling 10 people. The tools used to collect data about the ability to know the geometry is the observation sheet. Based on the survey results revealed that the ability to know geometry in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD "KITA" Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabpaten Indragiri Hulu before using the game Geometry Boxes ability to know the geometry of the child is still low by obtaining an average value of 35%. After the implementation of the actions completed in the second cycle, the average acquisition value of the ability to know geometry to increase to 84%. Based on the analysis results of the study it can be concluded that the game Geometry Box can enhance the ability to know the geometry of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD "KITA" Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabpaten Indragiri Hulu.
